Yes, you can make a leather alternative out of many famous tropical fruits, such as mangoes, bananas, and even pineapple. There are companies, that produce a quality faux leather using mangoes. Plus, theyโ€™re reducing food waste while theyโ€™re at it, by collecting production wastes of other food companies, also for free.

After being produced, the mango leather is sold to designers all around the world and is used to make everything from shoes to handbags, yet, many vegan leather companies are looking into creating even more vegan leather products, in different forms.
